BLESSED THISTLE, also commonly known as HOLY THISTLE, is, as its name implies, reputed to be a Sacred Herb. is much revered in Religious and Magical practice. It was once believed to cure the plague, but it also has Magical uses. Place BLESSED THISTLE in an open dish on the altar, mixed with Yerba Santa, Angelica (Holy Ghost Root), Cascara Sagrada (Sacred Bark), Basil (Sacred Basil), or other herbs whose names contain the words "holy," "sacred," or "blessed." This brings spiritual aid to the home. BLESSED THISTLE is also brewed into Tea with Blessed Salt, and the tea is sprinkled around the home for Protection from Evil. This ritual is accompanied by the recital of Psalms. We make no claims for BLESSED THISTLE, and sell as a Curio only.
