DITTANY OF CRETE is an old European love herb
but although it appears in many recipes for potions and
spells, it is actually quite costly and difficult to find,
because it grows wild only on the remote Aegean island of Crete.
It is in the Mint
family and is quite closely related to
Oregano and
Marjoram,
but its magical uses differ greatly from theirs. It is a culinary herb,
and it is said that when fed to the one you love, DITTANY OF CRETE
will help cause passionate desire to develop. Burned on
charcoal with
Myrrh,
Benzoin,
Sandalwood,
and other psychic herbs, it is claimed by some to aid
